Twas the third night of Chanukah and all through the mall Dreidels were spinning- the Gimmel takes all.  A balloon artist sculpted dreidels and a huge Menorah which signified the Chanukah tradition. Happy Chanukah to one and all.

There was no need to dream of a White Christmas.  Adults and children were skating on an outdoor skating rink next to a colorfully decorated Christmas Tree. A Marimba trio added to the festive afternoon with a mix of holiday favorites and music from Brazil and Latin America.

 

There was a Caribbean Christmas at a Tree Lighting at a Northern California shopping center. As a warm-up in anticipation to Santa's arrival, this Steel Pan trio played Christmas favorites with upbeat music from St. Martin, Jamaica, and Trinidad.

 "Smile and the Whole World Smiles with You" was one of the hit songs from the 1940's by a Jump Jive Swing Quartet.  And of course, make sure to "Dance on the Sunny Side of the Street." Enjoy classic hits made famous by Louis Armstrong, Tex Beneke, Count Basie, and Les Brown's Band of Renown.
