Saints Preserve Us

There were witches, goblins, and a blind referee at a Halloween trick or treat. A Country and Western, Surf, and popular music from 60's television sitcoms added to the fun. Audience members clapped their hands for the most creative costume.

Aloha Family Event

The theme was "bring the family" for an Hawaiian theme at a San Francisco mall.  A trio featured romantic ballads and lively music from Tahiti and Hawaii. Children and adults joined the fun by dancing with three hula dancers.



Malt Beer and Oompa music

Malt Beer and Oompa music was on the menu for a traditional Oktoberfest celebration in Hayward, CA. Partygoers need not travel to Munich; the celebration included pretzels, beer, and German music by a talented accordion and trumpet duo. 
 



Hispanic Heritage Month

Ballet Dancers highlighting different regions of Mexico and a 9 piece Mariachi was the highlight of Hispanic Heritage Month.   Audience members requested their favorite songs and joined in with lively dancing with Mariachi music.  Viva México.

There was Drag Queen Bingo, a Trivia contest, a song about cottage cheese casseroles with marshmallows for LGBTQ Pride at an assisted living home. Drum role please: Who was the lead actor in the 1975 cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show?

Everything Latin

Dias Dorados provided their celebration for Cinco De Mayo. This quartet featured Mexican ballads and high energy Latin pop hits with audience participation. A highlight was the Chilean guitarist and beat box musician who mimiked a farmland rooster.

Give me the Bird

Classically trained violinist Michelle and her pianist Patty offered an afternoon of pure delight with their presentation of "The Wonderful World of Birds." A fun highlight was Michelle's and Patty's rendition of "Rockin Robin" made famous by Bobby Day. Michelle later strolled with her baby cockatiel.

Yes, there was the wearing of the green to avoid those Leprechauns at a Hayward assisted living home. Violinist Michelle played a full array of Irish songs and shared humorous folklore from the Emerald Isle.  Have a rip roaring St. Patrick's Day.

 There were six Chinese Lions for "The Year of the Wood Dragon" for Chinese Lunar New Year in Los Gatos. Stefanie, the emcee, explained that Lions represent strength, resilience, compassion, and loyalty. The Lions later posed for pictures. Celebrity Gems arranges a full array of Chinese entertainment for Lunar New Year.



 Award winning Chinese ribbon and fan dancers with Chinese Zither music complimented a 30-minute Chinese Lion Dance show for the Year of the Wood Dragon.  The dancers later posed for pictures. Celebrity Gems arranges a full array of entertainment for Chinese Lunar New Year.

The Perfect Trio

"Sentimental Journey" was "The Perfect Trio" at a Hayward assisted living home's Winter Ball.  With a repertoire including "It's a Wonderful Life" by Louis Armstrong, "Route 66" made famous by Nat King Cole, to the Andrew Sisters "Bei Mir Bist Du Shein." And, to top it all off, Lisa's funny rendition of Jingle Bells.

                                              Quick, Call the Fire Department

Don't even think  of singing that popular Christmas carol, "Chestnuts Roasting on an open Fire." Why?  The Grinch would put a damper by calling the fire department. The Grinch was a surprise performer at a 160-person party at a Livermore winery. Joining the Grinch was a strolling magician and a DJ. Partygoers decorated their own Ginger Bread and Christmas cookies, adding a cherished keepsake to the afternoon festivities.

Fortune Sticks not Chopsticks

Fortune Sticks, tarot cards, and palm reading were in full array at a Danville, CA VIP. Some partygoers were amazed when a Chinese fortune teller told them that their marriages were thriving, and; that their personalities were in harmony. Partygoers danced to Earth, Wind, and Fire and patiently waited in line for their fortunes. #crowcanyoncountryclub
