Silicon Valley, encompassing the cities of Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Santa Clara, and San Jose is the home of High Tech. Technology in this part of Northern California is the home of I-Pads, mobile phones, Google, Apple, and Yahoo.

California State Yo Yo Champion Yo Yo Joe went Low Tech at the Blackhawk Plaza Kids Club, Danville, with a small wooden toy tracing its origins to China over 1000 years ago.

Joe showed his yo yo mastery by twirling two of these toys behind his back, dancing with the yo yo, a yo yo through the Eiffel Tower, and "walking the dog."  Yo Yo Joe gave the kids their own yo yo and taught them how to hold it, at the end of his 30 minute show.

His performance was enjoyed by the kids and adults, and will earn him a repeat engagement. According the the marketing manager,

Welome to the 15th Annual Sunset Show

Howdy Partner and Welcome to Sunset Show's "Celebration Weekend 15."  A Stilt Walker showed the way, meeting and greeting as throngs of people attended the annual Sunset Show open house and garden tour, Menlo Park, CA.  

Stilt Walker Ben strolled the fairway and vendor booths, joking with the crowd and posing for pictures. Off stilts, he juggled pins and his top hat.

Storyteller Indiana Jones enchanted his audience with his adventures in the Sahara, searching the Pyramids, and on Safaris deep in the African jungle. He brought artifacts and African masks and shared them with the kids at Celebration Weekend, Menlo Park.

Storyteller Daren then illustrated safe whip cracking with courageous volunteers.

There was a celebration at the grand opening of the model home development Butterfield Station, Morgan Hill.

Potential home buyers toured three models with different floor plans, and were treated to a Latin Trio and savory crepes from a local food truck.

The Latin Trio and food added that festive atmosphere in Morgan Hill. The event planner will be showcasing additional home openings and wants the Latin trio to return.

There was a Cinco De Mayo barbecue and celebration in Fremont, CA and solo guitarist Rafael added to the festive atmosphere. Rafael is a solid choice for Mariachi themes when traditional Mariachi is not available or due to budget constraints.

Rafael's répertoire includes music from Peru, Chili, the Andes, Ecuador, the Caribbean, and Mariachi.

A Charlie Chaplin Mime was the surprise guest at a Danville celebration.

A young couple were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary, and their family and friends were treated to Charlie Chaplin- top hat, colorful vest, and the Chaplin cane.

The Chaplin mime was a meet and greet, walked the guests to their tables, and gave them their napkins, in an hilarious rendition of the famed Chaplin. And, their were photo opportunities galore, taken at the beautiful Crow Canyon Country Club, Danville.
