Book Blast at Pleasanton Shopping Center
Shopping centers are increasingly becoming more of a family destination. Many San Francisco Bay Area malls host kids clubs, offering monthly shows with magicians, musical acts, and jugglers. These shows offer an entertainment and cultural value, and are designed for children up to age seven.
"Book Blast," an idea to encourage children to read, was hosted by the Stoneridge Shopping Center in Pleasanton. The book blast show began with a musical performance of Snow White and Prince Charming followed by Snow White and the Prince reading popular children's books followed by photo opportunities.
Celebrity Gems arranges costumed characters, including Snow White, Prince Charming, Captain Hook, and Tinkerbell, in Pleasanton, San Ramon, Walnut Creek, San Mateo, Dublin, and San Francisco.
