December in Northern California means cold and rainy weather. A Palo Alto law firm had their annual family appreciation on their parking lot with the theme "Cabin, cozy, it's cold outside." Fortunately there was mild weather and fortunately there wasn't rain. A child friendly band took center stage with camping songs, songs about friendship, rainbows, and songs about the different colors. A magician dressed in a heavy woolen sweater performed card and sponge ball tricks. There were two caricaturists and two face painters dressed for wintertime and snowy weather.
