Beat the heat with Surf Music

When the temperature hit a high of over 90 degrees at the Harbor Bay Landing Shopping Center in Alameda, many people retreated to the comfort of their air conditioned homes or sun bathed at the pool. For others, Saturday was a shopping day.
The Riptides. a surf and Beachboy band, provided those "Good Vibrations" for those shoppers who needed a setting away from the sun. This Band captivated their audience for three-hours of surf, fun in the sun, and Beatles music.
