The Chinese Zither
A Chinese Trio played music on the Guzheng, a stringed instrument with a 2500 year history in honor of Chinese New Year and the Year of the Dog. The lead musician explained the significance of the music to include fishermen and tornedoes with huge waves, a love song, and enchantment and surenity. For many shoppers at the San Francisco Premium Outlets, it was the first time that they were introduced to the Chinese Zither.
