Wonderful, Wonderful, with bubbles Floating in the Air
Pop the cork and pass the Champagne. There were bubbles floating in the air with champagne music made famous by band leader Lawrence Welk. The Lawrence Welk Show aired from the 1950's and beyond and was the theme at a Union City retirement home. "Wonderful, Wonderful" was the trademark made famous by Welk, with trumpet music by Frank accompanied by Nob Hill pianist Eric. This duo began their set with the song "Calcutta."
