"The Legends in Concert" is the longest running show on the Las Vegas Strip. A recent legends show featured rock superstars Michael Jackson, Elvis, and Janis Joplin. Why travel to Las Vegas when there is a San Francisco Bay Area impersonator with songs, dance moves, and costuming resembling the superstars?  Rock and roll icon impersonator Gerald wowed his audience with his renditions of Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Morris Day, and Prince. Vocalist Kami added to the icon show with Aretha Franklin's "Respect" and "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor. Beat the heat with Surf Music

When the temperature hit a high of over 90 degrees at the Harbor Bay Landing Shopping Center in Alameda, many people retreated to the comfort of their air conditioned homes or sun bathed at the pool. For others, Saturday was a shopping day.
The Riptides. a surf and Beachboy band, provided those "Good Vibrations" for those shoppers who needed a setting away from the sun. This Band captivated their audience for three-hours of surf, fun in the sun, and Beatles music. Line Dancing at Palo Alto Shopping Center

Bobby brought back memories with "Sleep Walk" by Santo and Johnny
Country and Western Line Dancers danced in rhythm to the California Cowboys two-hour concert at a Palo Alto shopping Center. Band leader Robert Smith gave a special shout-out to country legend Merle Haggard, with whom he rehearsed his music at Merle's Southern California home. For trivia buffs, his lead guitarist was the guitarist for the 40 million solid gold hit, "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer." Steel Pedal guitarist Bobby Black brought back memories with his rendition of Santo and Johnny's "Sleepwalk." Blues and Classic Rock at Alameda Shopping Center

While California is experiencing a Statewide heatwave, there was a comfortable and breezy day at the Harbor Bay Landing Shopping Center in Alameda. Singer Wendy and her talented trio of musicians added to the mellow afternoon by performing to an audience at picnic tables and on a lush green lawn. The band's eclectic mix of 50's and 60's rock and blues and 70's Motown was enjoyed by all.
