Magician at San Francisco Bay Area Mall attracts Shoppers



For a magical "prize an hour" giveaway at a San Francisco Bay Area Mall, The Great Mall of the Bay (Milpitas) our emcee, magician, and "barker" attracted the crowds and encouraged them to enter raffle drawings. There were prize drawings on the hour- for gift cards, DVD'S, and designer purses.
Glen used magic and slight of hand to draw people in, by making cards disappear and appear, in the deck of 52 cards. His "three card monte illusion" gained applause and kudos.

Glen, as the Magician, is a perfect choice for San Francisco parties. He sings, in addition to magic, as he was the co-star in the popular "Tony and Tina's Wedding," which had a long theatrical run at Pier 39 (San Francisco). Glen the magician is also skilled in three card monte.

Strolling Violins at San Francisco Bay Area Party


Our strolling violins added that "right mood" for a San Francisco Bay Area based end of the year office party. Checker's Catering, a full service event planning and catering company, set the atmosphere with food, dessert, and coffee stations. Office parties are one method to thank employees for their contributions throughout the year, and to encourage them to exceed expectations for the New Year.

Singing Christmas Tree brings Holiday Cheer to San Francisco Bay Area Retirement Home


Our Singing Christmas Tree brought that holiday spirit to a new active living community, AKA The Masonic Home, Acacia Creek (Union City), about 40-minutes from San Francisco. Marti (The Tree) "kicked-off" the luncheon with four minutes of tap dance, and then distributed caroling sheets. She strolled table to table and the buffet line where she served as crowd control. Marti made a great photo opportunity, with many guests taking digital photos.

Jazz Trio at San Francisco Bay Area Shopping Center


Malls can offer more frills in addition to Macy's, the Gap, and Nordstrom's. Our jazz trio attracted crowds and applause, at Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton, California.

Christmas and holiday shoppers received an unexpected treat when they heard our Jazz Trio, at the huge Christmas tree, center court, at Stoneridge Mall, Pleasanton, California. This trio played a mix of Christmas favorites, Jazz, Popular, and Broadway showtunes. There were many shoppers who spent longer times at the Mall, listening, enjoying, and applauding the live music.

Elvis Presley impersonator for San Francsco event


The San Mateo Expo Center was transformed to a huge casino for a 6500 person party hosted by Yahoo. Our Elvis Presley, from Los Angeles, "wowed the crowd" with a 30-minute Elvis Tribute Show. His singing and dancing were superb, and he got several audience members up, and on-stage. He later conducted mock weddings and mock renewal ceremonies.

The San Mateo Expo Center was magically transformed to a Las Vegas Casino, with a mock wedding chapel, gaming tables, video games, and a huge stage, for a 25-minute Elvis show. Our Elvis, from Los Angeles, has performed worldwide, to rave reviews, and adoring fans. His stage presence and dancing, electrified his audience. As Elvis, and as a John Travolta impersonator, he's on the Celebrity Gems 1st call list for bookings in San Francisco, and throughout Northern California.

Las Vegas Showgirls in San Francisco for Casino themed event



For a huge casino theme for over 6500 people, our Las Vegas Showgirls strolled
the San Mateo Expo Center (San Mateo), posing for pictures. There were Elvis Presley sightings, too. To add to the glitz, there were mock displays of six of the most famous casinos, on the strip.

There were huge lines when our Elvis Presley, from Los Angeles, conducted mock marriages and renewal ceremonies for a 6500 person event at the San Mateo Expo Center, San Mateo. Elvis' audience crooned when he asked "the bride and groom" to "don't be cruel," and "love me tender." Our Elvis can legally conduct weddings, too.

Guitarist for Nortern California fundraiser


Our Guitarist spread that holiday cheer for a Christmas fundraiser at
Tucker Associates Real Estate in Danville (San Francisco Bay) California. There were raffle prizes and eight vendor booths selling jewelry and crafts, with the proceeds for two non-profits. His singing, with instrumentals- from Jazz, Popular, Rock and Roll, and Christmas, added that classy touch.

Christmas Characters at San Francisco Bay Area Shopping Center



Our Toy Soldier and Fruitcake the Elf were pure delights at the Northern California shopping center- Town and Country Village(Palo Alto). The Toy Soldier banged on her mini drum, with a mock "wind-up" gadget adding to her authenticity. She gave out candy canes and was accompanied by Fruitcake the Elf, shown here at Hobee's Restaurant. Shoppers were advised to bring their digital cameras, and there were photo opportunities galore.

Bar Mitzvah DJ at San Francisco Bay Area Celebration


Our DJ emceed the Bar Mitzvah celebration at the Stonebrae Country Club (Hayward), taught Israeli folk dancing, and played classic and modern rock and roll. His energy and involvement with his audience, kept the party moving, from beginning to end. He had the right mix of music, for the teens and for the adults.

To Kickoff the Christmas Shopping Season, and for crowd control, our two musical groups at Stoneridge Mall (Pleasanton), added that festive and joyous touch to "Black Friday," one the busiest days of the year, for shoppers, hunting for bargains and discounts. Our music began at 5:00 a.m., and lasted until 12 noon.

Russian Dance Troupe for San Francisco hospital Service Award Program





The nurses, support staff, and administrators of the California Pacific Medical Center (San Francisco) were treated to an afternoon service award ceremony at the Cathedral Hill Hotel in San Francisco. Honorees received recognition for five years of service to the hospital, 10 years, 20 years, to six hospital staff receiving recognition for 40 years of service. Their theme this year was ethnic dance and music, and Celebrity Gems arranged Russian Cossack Dancers, a Mongolian hand dancer, an opera singer, and a pianist.

Celebrity lookalikes for San Francisco Movie Opening, with Austin Powers, Marilyn Monroe, and Chaplin Sightings.



The City of Hayward, California (Northern California) has a new, and prized addition to their downtown. The Cineplex Movie chain had their grand opening V.I.P. and ribbon cutting, for their multi-plex 12-screen theater. Our lookalikes Indiana Jones, Marilyn Monroe, Austin Powers, and Charlie Chaplin, posed for multiple photo-ops, and added glamour, for the 100's of guests, who entering on the red carpet. Our lookalikes made page three and the grand opening, made Page 3, of six local newspapers.

Magician and Chinese Lion Dancers for San Francisco Marriott V.I.P.


When the Marriott Hotels had their preferred customer event for the Western Region at two San Francisco hotels- the JW Marriott and the Renaissance Stanford Court one goal was to arrange entertainment not seen in their hometowns and home states. The 160 adults and 30 children, were from geographical areas that included Texas, Florida, and Latin America. Our strolling magician received kudos for strolling magic; and, our Chinese Lion Dancers, with Chinese drums, were a complete surprise, at the Stanford Court.

Comedian at Northern California Golf Tournament


Golf tournaments are popular at country clubs, for fundraisers, and for corporate morale parties. After the tournament, there's often an award program with gifts for the winning foursome, and a gag gift for the losing team. When GSE Construction a Livermore, California based company had their tournament at Wente Vineyards, our comedian served as emcee, to the delight and laughter from all the participants. He added that humorous touch for the late afternoon festivities. Here's our comedian, Dave Burleigh, who also performs on the Craig Ferguson Show.

Jazz Duo for San Francisco Bay Area Showcase event


Many hotels offer V.I.P. events as a method of introducing their hotel for potential business, and as a way of "thanking thier customers" for their loyalty. For a holiday/Christmas showcase at the San Ramon Marriott, in San Ramon, California, this hotel served gourmet appetizers, entres, and desserts, all in their holiday decorated main ballroom. Our Company added to their classy event by providing a Swing and Jazz duo, with the pianist playing on their baby grand piano.

The Italian crooners have made an enormous contribution to American popular culture. There are two San Francisco Bay area crooners who are keeping this legacy alive, performing in Las Vegas nightclubs, for corporate parties in San Francisco, Livermore, Walnut Creek, and Monterey, California, and once monthly, at Massimo's Restaurant, Walnut Creek, CA. Wallin and Barretta'a Tribute show to the Italian American icons, includes singers Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Jerry Vale, Louie Prima, and Al Martino's "Spanish Eyes."

Magicians at San Francisco Bay Area Trade show


Magicians are a great choice to attract attention at trade shows, and to differentiate one booth from the competition. Through slight of hand magic, and through mis-direction, magicians change dollar bills into twenties, make coins disappear, and turn one sponge ball into four sponge balls. For the Borel Private Bank and Trust, San Mateo, California, our magician correctly guessed the playing card, that the audience member pulled from the deck.

Christmas music for San Francisco and Northern California



Christmas music in the San Francisco Bay area includes our celtic harp and guitar duo, a solo guitarist, and four musicians, dressed in Dickens top hats, calling themselves "The Fabulous Flugelhorns." Christmas music, for different San Francisco Bay Area events, is popular for background music, for mix and mingle, and for "The Fabulous Flugelhorns," to herald in the party with Christmas favorites, pop, fanfares, and songs from televison and Broadway.

Christmas entertainment for Northern California, Walnut Creek, and San Francisco

For shopping centers, hotels, and recreation rooms, our tap dancing Christmas trees are a crowd pleaser. Here they are, at the Fremont, California Marriott Hotel. A surprise visit from Dickens Carolers, added that festive touch at Starbucks, in Castro Valley. Arrange a juggler, with a Santa cap, for crowd control, when arranging Santa. Chinese Lion Dancers Dazzle Crowd at San Francisco Bay Area Mall




A Chinese Lion Dance troupe entertained children and families, at an olympic theme hosted by Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton, California. For an audience size of over 250, and with most children ages two to five, the leader of this group, Robert Lee, brought two adult lion costumes, and one small lion costume. Four children volunteered, with one of the children dancing and holding the lion head, and the second child dancing and holding the tail. The remaining two children, ages three and four, played on cymbals and gongs. There was also a display of Chinese martial arts, fan dancing, and bamboo stick dancing.

Guitar Duo for Northern California V.I.P. event


A guitar duo added that festive touch, for the staff and management, at the San Ramon Marriott Hotel all-employee morale event. This instrumental duo provided background music, while the partygoers, staff, and magnagement, went from food station to food station, savoring light finger foods and decadent desserts.

Flamenco Dancers for Northern California Trade Show




A food broker in Northern California themed their vendor show to Spain and Spanish nights. With a colorful "Spanish Nights" arch, a Matador cut-out, a flamenco guitarist, and flamenco dancers, attendees at the Crow Canyon Country Club in Danville, California, ordered food at a discount, and were treated to lively flamenco dancers and music.

Magician, Balloon Artists, Caribbean band, for San Francisco Bay Area Showcase event




Home builder Pulte Homes and their marketing company, planned a "Carnival theme" for the grand opening of their active living community, Del Webb Homes, in Manteca, California.

There were radio and print advertisements encouraging home buyers to view the models, and bring the family, for magicians, balloon artists, facepainters, and a Caribbean Steel Band. This "carnival atmosphere" was enhanced with a jump house, carnival games, cotton candy, and corn dogs.
