A Rock and Roll and Funk band ended the five week concert series at Town and Country Village, Palo Alto. This Band had a repertoire of hits from the 21st Century, Hip Hop, Motown, Rock and Roll, and Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean."  They also featured the ultimate Bar Mitzvah party song "I Got a Feeling" from The Black Eyed Peas. Celebrity Gems arranges Rock and Roll, Motown, Funk, and Hip Hop bands, a Michael Jackson impersonator, in Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, San Francisco, San Jose, Walnut Creek, San Ramon, Danville, and Dublin.

Children's Singer at Barnyard Days, Pleasanton Shopping Center

The Marketing Department at the Stoneridge Shopping Center in Pleasanton figured out the perfect location for "Barnyard Days." They positioned children's singer James and a petting zoo between the huge sculpture of the Palomino Horse in front of P.F. Chang's and the Cheesecake Factory. James, who grew up on a farm, told the kids about growing up with barnyard animals and about his love of nature. He then sang songs about the alphabet, the days of the week, and the 12 months of the year. The kids tapped to the beat with shakers, small percussion instruments and waved colorful rainbow banners.

Band brings Heart and Soul to Alameda Shopping Center

Janice brought her heart, her soul, and her Band, consisting of the top Bay Area musicians, to the Harbor Bay Landing Shopping Center, Alameda.  Janice's music included Samba, with James on the Congas, New Orleans Jazz, Soul, and classic Rock and Roll, with hits by Ray Charles, Earth, Wind, and Fire, and Santana.

An afternoon highlight was a guest set by three preteens, who were her voice students, who sang the hits of Chris Brown, Estelle, A Touch of Honey, and Justin Timberlake. These youngsters were so exceptional that they ended the three hour concert, and will be invited back in 2014.

Samba Dancers lead Conga Line at Palo Alto shopping center

Conga drums and percussion instruments, five Latin musicians, and three Samba dancers set a lively tone at the Town and Country Village Shopping Center, Palo Alto. It was the "Night at the Copacabana," with music from Brazil, Cuba, Bolivia, the Caribbean, and Africa.

The finale of the two hour concert were the three Samba dancers and the musicians leading a Conga line throughout this shopping center, on the Embarcadero, across the street from Stanford University.

According to the Event Planner: "Thanks Stan! These are terrific! Great night! Great band! Great dancers!"

Sultry Jazz singer Lisa captivated a crowd with songs made famous by Billie Holiday, Eartha Kitt, Sinatra, Cole Porter, and the Gershwin brothers. Lisa had an engaging personality, communicating with her crowd, and got one audience member up on his feet, dancing with her. This jazz and pop concert was the second in a series at Harbor Bay Landing, Alameda.

The King makes surprise appearance

The 50's and 60's were known for distinct hair and clothing-sideburns with hair slicked back with grease, jeans with belt buckles in the rear, leather jackets, penny loafers, poodle skirts, and pony tails.

The band "Doubletake" did their homage to the Rock and Roll decade with hits made famous by Roy Orbison, Elvis, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bobby Darin, and that fun song "Chantilly Lace," made famous by "The Big Bopper."

The huge crowd, at the Town and Country Village Shopping Center, Palo Alto, began dancing after the hit song "A Teenager in Love" by Dion and the Belmonts.

The Town and Country Village (Palo Alto) was ecstatic with the Legends of Rock and Roll show:

Las Vegas style Crooner offers 50's nostalgia at Palo Alto Shopping Center

Crooner sings the hits of Bobby Darin, Sinatra, Tony Bennett

A Las Vegas style crooner belted out the hit songs of Bobby Darin, Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Tony Bennett at the second concert arranged by Celebrity Gems at Town and Country Village, Palo Alto. The huge Oak Tree and large stage provided the perfect setting for Jonathan, as he recreated the hit songs made famous in the New York Catskill Mountains, the lounge at the Sands Hotel, Las Vegas, and in Las Vegas and California casinos.

Jonathan was fantastic! He sounds wonderful and the band backing him up was terrific! He's a find.  We had a lot of toe tappers until later in the show when guests began to dance. And the older women were swooning around Jonathan after the show! :) We'd definitely invite him back!"
