There was a celebration like no other. The students at Creekside Middle School, Castro Valley had their own fun day at the End of School Year assembly. After a grinding year of tests, homework, and follow the rules, the middle school students let it all hang out by singing and dancing to a classic rock and roll band. Lead singer Gerald wowed his audience by impersonating Prince, Michael Jackson, James Brown, and Bruno Mars. There was no snow but plenty of whipped cream and hilarious tug of war relays at a Castro Valley Bat Mitzvah. Why the whipped cream? Bunny Bash at the Northgate Mall in San Rafael

There was a huge celebration for Northgate mall's 50th Anniversary and Bunny Bash. Joining the celebration was a magician who charmed his audience with a pet raccoon puppet, a face painter whose drawings were an art form, and a balloon artist who sculpted flower balloons. The mall manager joined the fun with an interactive memory game.

A caricaturist typically draws one person or two people. When a Canadian university wanted a remembrance of their class reunion, our caricaturist illustrated the scene with a composite drawing with the college logo. Twenty-five attendees posed for the drawing which was later framed. This remembrance will grace the living room of the host's Atherton home. Tri-Valley Chabad, located in Pleasanton, hosted their annual Purim party with a sports theme. Some children and their parents dressed in their favorite sports jerseys while other partygoers dressed ala Halloween. Purim, a holiday symbolizing the salvation of the Jews in ancient Persia, included a Chabad Megilla reading, a 30-minute audience participation magic show, and a costume contest.
