Dorothy, next to the wide screen, with that classic 1939 movie

Stoneridge Mall (Pleasanton) marked the 75th Anniversary of the Oscar winning film "The Wizard of Oz." Following the Yellow Brick Road were Dorothy, the Scarecrow who made balloons, and the friendly Witch from the North.  Dorothy was absolutely marvelous when she sang the Oscar winning song "Over the Rainbow."  She involved the kids by teaching them dance steps to "We're Off to See the Wizard."  Parents lined up throughout the afternoon to take pictures of Dorothy with their kids; and, the kids sat on rubber mats watching the 1939 musical fantasy on a big screen.

Celebrity Gems arranges costumed characters Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Face Painters, and Balloon artists in Pleasanton, San Ramon, Walnut Creek, San Mateo, Sacramento, San Jose, Oakland, San Francisco, and San Mateo.
