The music and dance from Hawaii came to the Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo. Hawaiian musicians sang love songs, surfing songs, and Hawaiian nature songs. Four hulas danced the lively music from Tahiti and Hawaii, and involved their audience by getting them to participate.
