Tri-Valley Chabad, located in Pleasanton, hosted their annual Purim party with a sports theme. Some children and their parents dressed in their favorite sports jerseys while other partygoers dressed ala Halloween. Purim, a holiday symbolizing the salvation of the Jews in ancient Persia, included a Chabad Megilla reading, a 30-minute audience participation magic show, and a costume contest.
